Airline Restrictions - You always have to follow rules.

Hence airlines have to impose certain restrictions with regards travel, luggage baggage etc. These are called airline restrictions. Prohibitions laid down by airlines may be on varied fields. You can have luggage restrictions, baggage restrictions, airline travel restrictions, air travel restrictions or restrictions imposed by governments of different countries.

Airline restrictions though an evil are a necessary evil. Airline restrictions have been in place since quite long now and are getting more stringent as the days go by. Prohibitions laid down by airlines are required as they help maintain certain required safety and security standards. Airline restrictions are imposed, many a times, on the same passengers that they are designed to protect. Airline restrictions are prevalent more today then they ever were.

The first kind of airline restrictions is luggage restrictions. Luggage airline restrictions as the name suggests are restrictions on luggage to be carried along on an airplane. Prohibitions on amount and kind of luggage have been in place for quite a long time now. Airline luggage restrictions have been imposed to ensure safety and security of the passengers. Airline luggage restrictions restrict luggage, i.e., big bags and baggage that can be carried along on a flight. These restrictions are often mentioned in kilograms of weight of luggage that a person can carry. Airline luggage restrictions are internationally similar and almost homogeneous. This is because the restrictions of two countries which the flight connects cannot be different.

The second kind of restrictions is airline baggage restrictions. Baggage airline restrictions are similar to luggage airline restrictions. These prohibitions laid down by airlines as the name suggests are restrictions on baggage to be carried along on an airplane. Airline baggage restrictions like luggage restrictions have been in place for quite a long time now. Prohibitions on amount and kind of baggage to be carried generally restrict baggage, i.e., hand baggage that can be carried along inside a flight. These restrictions are often mentioned in kilograms of weight of baggage that a person can carry. Prohibitions on amount and kind of baggage to be carried are internationally similar and almost homogeneous. This is also because of the same reason mentioned above.

The third type of airline restrictions are the airline travel restrictions. Air travel restrictions stop travel by air to certain enemy countries. These prohibitions laid down by airlines are made to restrict travel to countries with which the traveler’s country is not on very good terms. Air travel restrictions are quite deep and comprehensive and include other restrictions as well. These prohibitions laid down by airlines are used as diplomatic tactics to make political statements.
